City of Rochester Housing and Neighborhood Services works to attract and support housing investment in the City and expand access to safe, decent, affordable housing through regulating rental housing, enforcing housing & zoning code compliance, and administering programs to support the community’s affordable housing initiatives.
The City of Rochester requires all rental properties to be registered with the City and regularly inspected. All rental properties must comply with the City's housing code.
