Do you want to be involved in your local government? The Rochester City Council seeks volunteers to serve on various City advisory boards, commissions and committees.

Applicants must have a desire to serve their community in a volunteer capacity, be willing to contribute the number of hours necessary for the particular group to which they are applying, and may be required to meet specified residency requirements. • The Mayor interviews applicants and will recommend appointments subject to City Council approval.

• Applications are accepted throughout the year and will be considered as vacancies occur.
