Gamehaven Sledding Hill and Outdoor Skating Rinks Closed for the Season

February 28, 2025 – ROCHESTER, MINN. – The Gamehaven Park sledding hill, located at 2016 45th Street SE, is closed for the season due to icy conditions from fluctuating temperatures. All outdoor skating rinks, including the ice oval at Soldiers Field, are also closed due to warmer weather.

• Manor Park (4238 Manor Park Drive NW)
• Lincolnshire Park (5276 Members Parkway NW)
• Viking Park (2 Avenue NW & 26 Street NW)
• Northern Heights Park (900 22 Street NE)
• Withers Sports Complex (2021 Mayowood Road SW)
• Soldiers Field Memorial Park (244 E Soldiers Field Drive SW)
• Free skate rental available at the East Warming House weekends from Noon to 4 p.m. beginning January 6, 2024 and every weekend until the end of February, weather permitting
• Bear Creek Park (1237 Marion Road SE)*

Track oval location:

• Soldiers Field Memorial Park (244 E Soldiers Field Drive SW)

Studio rink location (no hockey allowed):

• Cook Park (722 7 Street NW)*

*No lights at this location
