Neighborhood Information Meetings (NIMS) are a means for potential developers to inform neighbors and interested community members of a proposed project in an informal setting. The City of Rochester requires potential developers to host a NIM for specific types of Land Development projects. A NIM is not a full review of the project, but rather it is an opportunity for the public to learn about the project and share any thoughts or ideas with the development team.

Neighborhood Information Meeting (NIM) Notice Postcards are sent when a developer is hosting a NIM.  Postcards are typically delivered to property owners and tenants within 350 feet of the project location.  Learn more about NIMs, the application type, and the project by following the steps below:

1. Learn about NIMs by reviewing the NIM application guide.
2. Step 2: Identify the "Application Type" on the postcard and review the corresponding application guide.
3. Identify the "Meeting Date & Time" on the postcard and find the event on the "Upcoming Meetings" calendar.  Click the calendar event to view the developer-submitted documents, a virtual meeting link, and other details.
