I received a parking citation for expired registration. I renewed my registration already but forgot to put the tabs on my vehicle. Can I get my ticket dismissed?

Unfortunately, no. Rochester City Ordinance Sec. 11-6-12.d states: No person shall park any vehicle or trailer on any public street or alley within the City of Rochester that does not display current registration as required by law. Administrative review of a citation for this reason is not available. If you would like to contest your ticket in District Court, the instructions are on the back of the citation.
