The Parks & Recreation Forestry Division manages Rochester's urban tree program, including planting and caring for more than 100,000 boulevard and public trees acros 5,125 acres of parkland and public property.
The division also maintains the urban bikeway system, Peace Plaza and the downtown area, oversees municipal landscape projects and enforces the tall grass and noxious weed ordinance.
