Dealing with storm-related insurance issues?
The Rochester Area Insurance Village will bring together insurance representatives and Minnesota Department of Commerce staff for a free, in-person opportunity to get answers about insurance claims, coverage, and next steps.
No registration is required, and the event is free to attend.

At the Insurance Village, you can:
- Check the status of an existing claim
- Ask questions about coverage, deductibles, or repair estimates
- Learn what documents or information may still be needed
- Get help understanding a delayed or complicated claim
- Learn how to prepare for future severe weather
If you have claim paperwork or insurance documents, consider bringing them with you. Having these documents available may help staff better understand your situation and provide more useful guidance.
You do not need to have an active claim to attend. Anyone who wants to better understand their insurance coverage or has questions following the recent storms is welcome.
