Requirements for contractors who erect or maintain signs in the city are outlined in the Rochester Code of Ordinances Chapter 5-8.

This is an annual license that expires on December 31 each year. The annual license fee is $90 and is not prorated, regardless of when during the year a license is obtained. If the renewal application arrives after December 31, then it is subject to an expired license fee of 50% in addition to the renewal fee.
