RPT GO: Microtransit Pilot Program

Rochester Public Transit (RPT) is making the following modifications to its on-demand transit service, "RPT GO", beginning on Monday, April 7:

  • Customers can book rides through the RPT GO mobile app or by calling 507-328-7433. Service hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • The zone of service is expanding to include most of southern Rochester. View a map of the expanded zone here
  • Central Park is now within RPT GO’s service area, providing users with another convenient connection to downtown businesses and services. Due to the relocation of the Downtown Transit Center to Central Park, RPT GO will also offer seamless connectivity to RPT fixed routes.
    • Additional RPT GO places of interest: Cub Foods Southeast, Rochester Community and Technical College, Mayo High School, Quarry Hill Park, Rochester Public Library, Rochester International Airport, History Center of Olmsted County and the Mayowood Mansion.
  • The first ride for all users is free! (Code = FREERIDE2025)
  • Single-ride fares are now $2, with children under five and personal care attendants riding free. Aligning our fares with our fixed route bus fares allows for seamless transfers between RPTGO and RPT’s fixed route bus service. (Transfer passes are available upon request from the RPT GO driver.)
