Mayor Norton to Host 2026 State of the City Event
December 18, 2025 – ROCHESTER, MINN. – Mayor Kim Norton will host the 2026 State of the City Address on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Mayo Civic Center, Suites 102/103. The event is open to the public and advance RSVP is requested by January 2.
An optional continental breakfast will be available beginning at 7:15 a.m. for $10. The program will begin at 7:30 a.m.
Mayor Norton, joined by City, Olmsted County and Rochester Public Schools leaders, will reflect on the past year and share priorities and initiatives for 2026. The event will also feature the City’s annual Year in Review video highlighting key accomplishments and milestones from 2025.
“The State of the City is an opportunity to come together as a community, reflect on where we have been and look ahead to what is next,” said Mayor Norton. “I invite residents to join us as we continue working toward a strong future for Rochester.”
