Foster Arend Beach has no lifeguards on duty. The Park and Recreation Department encourages the "buddy" system when enjoying the beach. Parents are responsible for their children.
Waterparks of Minnesota offers an inflatable waterpark at Foster Arend Beach. There is an admission fee for this amenity. More info can be found on Waterparks of Minnesota's Facebook Page.
The following regulations will be enforced at Foster Arend this swimming season:
- No swimming outside designated swimming area.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed in the entire park.
- No smoking in beach area.
- No glass containers in beach area.
- No dogs in beach area.
- The park will close at 9:00 p.m. nightly and the parking lot gates locked.
