Park Bench or Tree Memorial/Dedications

Bench Option:
Costs range from approximately $2,200.00 to $5,500.00 depending on bench size, pad size, and type of bench.
Bench donations include a bench, concrete pad, plaque or engraving, shipping, installation costs and future care and maintenance as long as it remains structurally sound and safe to use. If the furniture is vandalized or deteriorates to a point where it is unsafe to use, it will be removed. Donation does not include replacement if equipment is removed. Benches are installed once per year in the Spring/early Summer.
Orders must be placed by February 28 for installation within that year.
Memorial Tree Option:
Cost: $470
The City will plant the tree from bare root stock, no warranty is provided for trees planted from bare root stock.
Trees are planted once per year in the Spring.
*Donor may choose to purchase a tree from a local nursery and have the City plant the tree. In this case the donor will pay for the tree at the nursery and the city will charge $150 to plant.
*Tree staking and/or deer protection fencing (if required) will be charged extra.
*Plaque: A marker may be installed at the time of planting. If desired, the cost is an additional $400
