City of Rochester Reminds Residents: 2025 is an Off-Election Year

October 30, 2025 – ROCHESTER, MINN. – The City of Rochester reminds residents that 2025 is an off-election year. There are no City races, special elections or referendums on the ballot this November 4.

While there are no City items to vote on this year, residents are encouraged to take time to prepare for future elections. This is a great opportunity to:

  • Confirm voter registration status or register to vote for the first time
  • Update address or name changes to keep voter information current
  • Learn more about absentee and early voting options available in Minnesota
  • Explore election opportunities in surrounding communities through the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website

These steps help ensure a smooth voting experience in upcoming elections including the 2026 general election.
