Pre-Development Meetings

About Pre-Development Meetings: Before submitting a formal Land Development Application, potential land developers are required to complete a Pre-Development Meeting.  At the meeting, the applicant (or their designated representative) shares their proposed project with City Teammates, and City teammates provide feedback to help them better plan and prepare for the formal application process.  There is no charge for a Pre-Development meeting.

Rochester requires Pre-Development Meetings for all Land Development Applications (except Applications for Zoning Certificates and Final Plats).  For full details, see the UDC Procedures Table.

How do I request a meeting?  Request a Pre-Development Meeting by submitting a Pre-Development Meeting Request Form with site plans and related information that clearly describe the proposed development.
