The City’s Sustainability team collaborated with
Information Technology, Communications & Engagement, and Rochester Public
Utilities to draft and publish the first quarterly Sustainability E-newsletter.
This e-newsletter aims to share educational resources with the community,
featuring City and utility events and rebates, state programs, and federal
incentives. It aligns with the City Council's Strategic Priorities by informing
readers about rebates, subsidies, and financial incentives that reduce costs
for energy efficiency and sustainability projects. Additionally, it provides
quality services and fosters community engagement by promoting events,
workshops, and initiatives that actively involve residents. The e-newsletter
also supports local businesses by offering information on programs and
resources designed to enhance their sustainability efforts. Community members
