Free Carbon Monoxide Alarms

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless gas that can be fatal, and it’s impossible to detect without a CO alarm. To help keep our community safe, the Rochester Fire Department has partnered with the State Fire Marshals Office to provide and install free carbon monoxide alarms for residents. Alarms are powered by a 10-year lithium-ion battery, ensuring long-term protection without the need for battery replacements.

Installation is available Monday - Friday, between 9AM and 4PM.
