The 37th St NW Sidewalk Improvements from 18th Ave NW to W River Pkwy NW aims to fill a gap in the City’s sidewalk network. The project includes the construction of a five-foot walk on the north side of 37th St NW and safety improvements, such as a median refuge for crossing pedestrians at 15th Ave NW. This new sidewalk would provide a safe mobility option for school-age children that attend Gage Elementary or John Adams Middle School, two schools with walk boundaries situated in the project area.
