City of Rochester Releases 2025 Summer Fun & City Resources Magazine
The City of Rochester is proud to announce the release of the 2025 Summer Fun & City Resources magazine; a free publication mailed directly to almost 64,000 residential mailboxes in Rochester. This annual summer issue is packed with helpful information on City services, events, recreational opportunities and community initiatives. The magazine will also be available at City Hall, the Rochester Public Library and the Development Services and Infrastructure Center.
The magazine includes details on the newly completed Soldiers Field Aquatic Center, inclusive AccessABLE Recreation programs and the year-long Year About Youth (YAY) initiative led by Mayor Kim Norton. It also offers guidance on utilizing the 311 system, understanding sidewalk improvement plans, practicing stormwater protection and navigating transit service updates.
In addition to core services, the magazine features beloved seasonal events such as the Riverside Music Series, and Safe City Nights – a community-building initiative offering free food, games and activities at elementary school sites throughout the summer in partnership with the Rochester Police Department.
“This is our second year producing a summer edition of the magazine to help community members stay aware of the many resources, events, and services available to them through the City of Rochester,” said Jenna Bowman, Director of Strategic Communications & Engagement. “By centering the community in all we do, our goal is to support a high quality of life and ensure every resident feels informed, included, and connected to the city's offerings.”
