The City of Rochester's Park & Forestry Team helps Rochester residents receive free trees for their properties. Certain properties within the city qualify for federal grant funding provided by the Inflation Reduction Act and US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Urban and Community Forestry Program.

Priority for free trees goes to under-served areas as identified by the Environmental Justice Screening tool.  To see eligible areas in Rochester please view the PDF.
