The City of Rochester is beginning construction for the Link Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. To prepare for this, the City will host two virtual sessions and open office hours to provide background, insight and upcoming schedules.

 

On the Move: Understanding Link BRT  – Virtual sessions

A formal presentation will be given, with time for questions

Wednesday, March 19, at 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Sessions will be recorded and posted on the Link BRT website.


On the Move: Understanding Link BRT – In-person, open office hours session

No formal presentation will be given, attendees can drop in at their convenience

Friday, March 21, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Link BRT system is a transformative transportation investment designed to enhance mobility, ease congestion and support the continued growth of Rochester. By providing a fast, fare-free and reliable transit option, with 12 stops located along the 2.8-mile-long, 2nd Street corridor. Link BRT will serve an estimated 11,000 commuters, residents, businesses and visitors a day, strengthening downtown Rochester’s accessibility and economic vitality. Funding for the construction of Link BRT is collaborative between Destination Medical Center, the Federal Transit Administration and the City of Rochester.
